Art Statement
When The Good and The Bad becomes a demarcation line between what is morally just or not, there are things that do not fall among the two territories. Many times, we are too timid to venture out among the gray areas. What more to set foot on the dark side. But unless we acknowledge the sordid aspects of our binary human nature, we will never become whole.
ANATHEMA exemplifies the things that are deemed too wayward in our prejudiced notions of the Ideal, of the Ethical. And because the sinister is depicted, ANATHEMA deviates from the orthodox conceptions of aesthetics. Art for the sake of beauty alone is a form of denial, an inability to realize one’s primordial fears. Thus, in this two-man show, moral and spiritual dilemmas are placed center stage to give light on the veracity of man’s dark possibilities.
ANATHEMA showcases figurative and representational artworks filled with occult images of the ethical taboos, moral decays, and profanities. Such eccentric views coupled with unconventional styles are proofs that this visual exhibit does not tread the path of mainstream Art.
ANATHEMA is pop surrealism in its purest element.
Dangerous. Disturbing. Visually palatable.

"The Birds and The Bees"
Life is full of metaphor. If there is one subject where metaphor is a dime a dozen, it should be sex. One wonders why, as a child, sex seems to be an object of intrigue and secrecy, when it is one of the most carnal acts of human beings. Parents love to sugarcoat, thinking that through this, they can protect innocent minds from being corrupted.
What is it about sex that we need to hide? Why do birds and bees need to suffer their innocent images for something “adulterated”? This is because, sex, no matter how seemingly enjoyable and orgasmic, is not perfect. It is shadowed by morality, emotions, and both physiological and psychological issues.
THE BIRDS AND THE BEES is an art exhibit which showcases three artists' perception about how the abnormalities and flaws in one's sexuality affect not only an individual as a sexual being, but as an entire human person. This includes the other aspects that mold his behavior and relationships: emotional, social and psychological.
This exhibit will show that sexual abnormalities and flaws contribute to the shape of this whole sphere, social bonds, female whims, masculine angst and more
The viewers are given the ticket to that hidden corner where size DOES matter, WILD is BEAUTIFUL, orgasms influence human joys and pride, every lick and every thrust counts not just during coitus but beyond.
THE BIRDS AND THE BEES is an art exhibit about sex that your parents do not want you to know, but you have to inevitably discover and experience.

Voyeurism, a compulsion innate in human beings, is being described as spying on sexual activities from a secret location.
What happens behind closed doors has always been a source of interest not only amongst voyeurs, but also the curious. For this is where the sordid and the sensational happens.
Behind Closed Doors is a peep through that carnal being in each of us, that the darkness seeks to hide when the lights are off, but art endlessly sees. A magnified look at “sex”, “pagtatalik”, “kayat” or “iyot”. It involves all the colors, positions, preferences: man to woman, woman to woman, man to man, and everything in between.
It also includes many different forms of confessions that involve the language felt by many, spoken by so few. And so, we express it through our chosen media. This art exhibit does not aim to solely show what the artists think, feel and perceive, but it also aims to awaken. It aims to celebrate sexuality, openly. It is an exposition that calls for sexual exploration, self-satisfaction and the liberating outcome of coitus that most of us fail to recognize and appreciate.
Through our exhibit, we are inviting you to join us in a visual thrill ride of breaking norms, and going beyond taboo to behold sexual forms in a different perspective. If you won’t call it art, then we’ll call it our own perversions. And discover that even the moist little finger that moves in and out of you or the furry little creature that brings you to climax, can be a thing of beauty.
Let us celebrate the human spirit through the pleasures of the flesh particularly, the sexual pleasures or gratifications in different forms.
Behind Closed Doors is viewing sex as an art form, from a not-so-secret vantage point.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This will be a two-man show featuring our latest works and our take on human sexuality(as always..hehe).
